Notion's Official MCP Server: Workspace Search, Reads, and Writes

Notion runs its own official, hosted MCP server, giving AI tools secure access to a workspace's pages and databases without a custom integration. It's designed to work with popular AI assistants including Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and ChatGPT.

What It Exposes

The server provides standardized tools for searching across a workspace, reading page and database content, and creating or updating pages and database entries — turning what used to require Notion's REST API and custom auth handling into a protocol-level capability any MCP client can use directly.
