Verified MCP servers: what verified means

At MCPserver.in, 'verified' means a server has satisfied the publication authority — it is published, its exposed capabilities are documented, and it has qualifying source evidence. Verification reflects documented facts and provenance, not a rating.

A server is either verified (passes the publication authority) or not verified (missing evidence, a placeholder, or quarantined). The state is derived from the evidence ledger, not a subjective editorial opinion.

When a capability is asserted by the maintainer, that is a declaration. When it is independently confirmed from source, that is measurement. We label which applies. Declarations alone do not flip a server to fully verified unless corroborated.
